One collaborative partner and a Steering Committee member worked with Collaborative Coordinator to participate in a Maturing Collaborative Sustainability conversation with other collaboratives during the last year. This was a valuable process to think about the future positioning of the collaborative as an invaluable resource in the community. It helped to align a message of value that the “Network exists to solve problems no single entity can solve alone.” A renewed focus on using stories/anecdotes to communicate the impact helped drive a sharing model that we are practicing using. The current impact statement: "The Network exists to solve problems that no single entity can solve alone. Our shared work across the community boosts personal incomes of our residents, reduces the need for taxpayer-funded assistance, and produces lasting impact on measures of community equity and well-being."
